Jonah Kusi-Asare completes permanent move to Fulham

Bayern Munich have sold young striker Jonah Kusi-Asare to Fulham on a permanent deal after his successful loan spell in the Premier League.

Bayern Munich and Fulham have agreed a permanent transfer for promising striker Jonah Kusi-Asare, confirming that the Swedish youth international will continue his career in the Premier League. The 18-year-old spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage and did enough to convince Fulham to activate a deal to keep him in London.

According to Sky, both clubs settled on a fixed transfer fee of around six million euros. Kusi-Asare had only joined Bayern in early 2024, arriving from AIK for 3.5 million euros to develop at the club’s campus, but his pathway quickly shifted once Fulham showed strong interest.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl praised the towering 1.96m forward as a success story of their talent development work. He noted that Kusi-Asare joined the club at 16 and used his time in Munich as a springboard to convince Fulham during his loan spell. Eberl emphasised that Bayern are proud of his progress and wished him well as he pursues his next goals in England.

For Fulham, the signing secures a young, physically imposing striker they can continue to mould, while Bayern benefit from a profit and another example of their academy pipeline bearing fruit.
