Real Madrid eye blockbuster Michael Olise move
Real Madrid are closely monitoring Michael Olise’s situation at Bayern Munich as they weigh up a major summer move for the French winger.
The Spanish champions are reportedly in regular contact with the 24-year-old’s representatives despite already committing significant funds to other signings and still targeting a new centre-back and central midfielder.
Olise has long been admired in Real Madrid, with club president Florentino Perez said to view him as one of the standout attacking talents on the market. However, any deal would be hugely complex, as Bayern Munich are understood to be demanding a world-record fee exceeding the 222 million euros Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar.
The winger’s stock has soared after a sensational 2025/26 campaign in Germany, where he established himself as a decisive attacking force for Bayern. He has carried that form onto the international stage, starting the World Cup with two assists in France’s 3-1 win over Senegal as he bids to lead Les Bleus to glory.
According to reports in Germany, if the player decides to move this summer, it will be very difficult for Bayern Munich to keep him.
Real Madrid are not alone in the race, with PSG also showing strong interest, setting up a potential transfer battle between two of Europe’s richest clubs.
