Mahamadou Sangaré on the radar of Ligue 1 and Bundesliga clubs
Manchester City forward Mahamadou Sangaré is reportedly attracting growing interest ahead of a potential departure this summer, with clubs in France and Germany closely monitoring his situation.
As per reports, the 19-year-old, who has France and Malian roots has already received multiple approaches, with Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga emerging as the most likely destinations should he leave the Etihad Stadium.
Sangaré, who joined Manchester City last year, is highly rated within the club’s academy system but is yet to make his senior debut for Pep Guardiola’s side. Despite that, he has made a strong impression at youth level and continues to be viewed as one of the promising talents in City’s development pipeline.
During the 2025/26 campaign, the forward enjoyed a productive season with Manchester City’s academy team, registering 15 goals in 30 appearances and underlining his attacking potential.
While his progress has been steady, competition for places in City’s first team remains extremely high, prompting interest from clubs who believe he could develop more quickly with regular senior football elsewhere.
With the summer transfer window approaching, discussions around his future are expected to intensify, especially as both French and German sides look to secure his signature.
A final decision is yet to be made, but Sangaré’s next step could determine whether he continues his development within City’s system or takes on a new challenge in one of Europe’s top leagues.
