Juventus considering move for Guinea midfielder Ilaix Moriba
Juventus are reportedly considering a move for Guinean international Ilaix Moriba ahead of the new season.
The 21-year-old, who is under contract with Celta Vigo until 2029, has emerged as one of the players on Juventus’ shortlist as they look to reinforce their midfield options ahead of the new season. While no official bid has been submitted yet, the Old Lady are believed to be closely monitoring his situation.
Moriba has enjoyed a steady campaign in La Liga, contributing two goals and three assists for Celta Vigo, and his performances have reignited interest from clubs across Europe. His physical presence, technical ability and versatility in midfield have made him an attractive option for sides seeking added depth and dynamism.
Celta Vigo are reportedly open to considering offers for the Guinean international, although they are not actively pushing for his departure. The Spanish club is said to value Moriba in the region of €15–16 million and would only sanction a sale if their valuation is met.
The midfielder, who has previously been regarded as one of the standout young talents in European football, has experienced a mixed career trajectory but now appears to be rebuilding momentum in Spain.
Juventus’ interest remains at an early stage, but the Serie A club is expected to continue assessing midfield targets as they plan for potential squad changes in the coming transfer window.
With Moriba attracting attention once again, a move away from Celta Vigo cannot be ruled out, especially if Juventus decide to formalize their interest in the coming weeks.
