The Santé Foot tournament in Togo, which began on August 17, is set to conclude on October 5 at the Stade Omnisport in Lomé. The final match will feature the Regional Hospital Center of Lomé Commune against the Biassa Clinic. The semi-finals, held at the same venue, determined the finalists.
The defending champions, Prefectural Hospital Center of Vogan, will not have the opportunity to defend their title as they lost to CHR LC (2-1) in the semi-final. In the other semi-final, Clinique Biassa secured a victory against CHR Tsévié with a score of 3-1.
As part of the event, an exhibition match between the ladies from CHU Campus and CHU Sylvanus Olympio is scheduled as a prelude to the grand final. Additionally, a classification match will take place in the morning of the final.
The tournament, organized in support of health centers in Togo, focuses on fairground operations to benefit the population. These operations include blood collections to support health facilities, free diabetes screening, and a program to raise public awareness about the importance of sport for prevention. The initiative aims to contribute to public health in the region.
