Elves Baldé: Vitoria Guimarães eye move for Guinea-Bissau/Portugal winger

Guinea-Bissau-born Portugal youth winger Elves Baldé is being linked with a move from Polish side Radomiak to Liga Portugal club Vitória Guimarães.

The 26-year-old right winger, who holds dual nationality with Guinea-Bissau and Portugal and is valued at around €500,000 on Transfermarkt, is the subject of fresh speculation in Portugal, with the reported probability of the transfer currently listed as “?”. There is no publicly listed contract expiry date at Radomiak, prompting suggestions he could yet negotiate an exit as a potential free agent if terms are not clarified.

Baldé, who stands at 1.69m and prefers to operate off the right flank, has been a regular for Radomiak in Poland’s Ekstraklasa, wearing the No 21 shirt. Data indicates his status at the club remains active, though no formal announcement has been made on any extension or release.

Born in Bissau on 2 October 1999, Baldé later came through the Portuguese system and has previously featured in Portuguese football before his move to Poland. His versatile attacking profile – listed as “Attack – Right Winger” but comfortable across the front line – is understood to be one of the attractions for Vitória Guimarães as they look to deepen their options out wide.

The winger’s current market valuation of €500k would make him a comparatively low-cost addition by top-flight Portuguese standards, increasing talk of a bargain move or a pre-contract scenario should his Radomiak deal prove close to expiry.

With his peak years ahead and a possible return to Portugal on the horizon, any switch to Vitória Guimarães could offer Baldé a platform to re-establish himself in Liga Portugal and shape the next, defining phase of his career.
