Brazil also advanced, winning 4-3 against Japan. Reigning world champion Russia secured a 6-5 victory, and Spain claimed the last spot by defeating El Salvador 2-1.
In the semi-finals, Brazil will face Spain, while Russia will take on Tahiti. These matches are scheduled for today. Unfortunately, both African representatives, Ivory Coast and Senegal, were eliminated in the first round of the competition.
