Ruud Krol, the coach of the Tunisian national football team for the 2014 World Cup play-offs, has selected his assistant coaches. Adel Sellimi, who was the deputy to the former coach Maâloul (who resigned), will continue in the same role under Krol. In addition to Sellimi, Krol has chosen Hamadi Daou, his assistant at Club Sportif Sfaxien, as the second assistant coach. The new coaching staff will be officially presented by Krol during a press briefing, after which they will begin their mission of qualifying Tunisia for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, facing Cameroon in a double confrontation. The first leg is scheduled for October 13 in Radès.
