Cosmos de Bafia secured promotion to the first division (Elite One) in Cameroonian football during the 26th and final day of the D2 championship (Elite Two). In a crucial match against local National Polytechnique, the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw, which was enough for Cosmos to secure a place in the Elite One for the next season. This achievement is notable as Cosmos joins two other clubs, Ums de Loum and Scorpion de Bé, in moving from departmental D3 to the national elite in just three seasons.
On the other hand, Aigle royal de la Menoua joined Tiko United and Achille de Sa’a in regional D2 after a goalless draw with AS Matelots de Douala. This result confirmed Aigle’s relegation to regional D2.
