Ibrahim Mbaye on the radar of Premier League clubs

Senegalese forward Ibrahim Mbaye could be on the move this summer, with growing reports suggesting the teenager is considering a switch from France to England in search of regular first-team football.

The 18-year-old, currently on the books of Paris Saint-Germain, is said to be frustrated by limited playing time at the Parc des Princes and is open to a move that would allow him to play more consistently at senior level.

According to reports, three Premier League clubs, Liverpool FC, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United FC are monitoring the young striker’s situation closely ahead of the summer transfer window.

Liverpool are believed to be particularly keen, with the Reds reportedly placing Mbaye on their shortlist as part of their long-term recruitment strategy. The Merseyside club are understood to view the Senegal international as a high-upside talent capable of developing within their attacking system.

Aston Villa and Newcastle, meanwhile, are also tracking the situation, as both clubs continue to strengthen their squads with promising young talent capable of contributing immediately while also developing for the future.

Despite not yet playing a major role in PSG’s first team, Mbaye has shown glimpses of his potential this season. He has registered one goal and two assists in 21 Ligue 1 appearances, mostly in a rotational role.

With competition for places fierce at PSG, the forward’s desire for more minutes could prove decisive in shaping his next move. A Premier League switch now appears to be a realistic possibility as interest intensifies ahead of the summer window.
