Enppi’s administrative director, Walid Ramadan, has moved to quash speculation surrounding midfielder Mahmoud Kahraba, insisting there is no tension within the squad ahead of their Egyptian Premier League meeting with Pyramids FC.

The Cairo-based side are set to face Pyramids on Friday at 5pm local time in the fifth round of the championship stage, as they continue their push in the league’s decisive phase.

Ramadan addressed reports suggesting Kahraba had been unhappy over limited involvement in the draw against Zamalek and had subsequently missed training.

He described the claims as unfounded, stressing that the player remains fully integrated within the team setup.

According to Ramadan, Kahraba trained normally with the squad but later underwent a precautionary medical check after sustaining a minor bruise.

He said the issue was not serious and did not disrupt the player’s preparation.

He further confirmed that the midfielder is expected to rejoin full training and will be available for selection as Enppi prepare for the crucial fixture against Pyramids.

Enppi head into the match on the back of a goalless draw with Zamalek. They currently sit sixth in the championship standings on 36 points, having recorded one win and three draws in the ongoing stage of the competition.
