Real Madrid face injury crisis

Real Madrid have been forced into a tactical rethink following an injury setback to Arda Güler, with the Moroccan contingent emerging as a key solution.

The young midfielder has suffered a hamstring injury in his right leg and is expected to be sidelined for around four weeks, dealing a blow to his growing influence within the squad.

Manager Álvaro Arbeloa is now exploring alternatives to fill the void left by Güler, who had been steadily establishing himself at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium after spending previous seasons in the shadow of Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić.

According to Defensa Central, Arbeloa is considering a mix of experience and versatility, with players like Eduardo Camavinga and Dani Ceballos among those who could see increased roles.

However, attention has turned to the Moroccan duo, particularly Brahim Díaz, who continues to prove his value as a dependable option in crucial moments. Díaz has impressed with consistent performances, strengthening his case ahead of other emerging talents such as Franco Mastantuono.

Alongside him, Thiago Pitarch has also been identified as one of the season’s breakout performers, despite limited involvement in recent La Liga fixtures.

Real Madrid are taking a cautious approach with Güler’s recovery and are unwilling to rush him back into action, especially following his standout display against Bayern Munich and his importance to the Turkey national football team ahead of the World Cup.

With key fixtures approaching, the responsibility now falls on the squad’s depth, and particularly the Moroccan presence, to maintain stability during Güler’s absence.
