Marlène Emvoutou, the unsuccessful candidate in the elections of the Cameroonian football federation (Fecafoot), faces legal troubles as 14 young Cameroonians residing in Equatorial Guinea accuse her of defrauding them in 2012. Emvoutou, representing the Aspire project, allegedly collected 1.8 million FCFA from each individual, promising to take them to Doha, Qatar. However, at Douala airport, the victims discovered that the provided documents were unreliable. The court hearing has been postponed for the third time, and Emvoutou is scheduled to appear before the judge again on October 15, 2013.
