The Ghana Football Federation (GFA) has officially changed the date of the first leg of its 2014 World Cup play-off against Egypt. Originally set for October 13 in Kumasi, the match will now take place on October 15 (Tuesday). The decision aims to provide more preparation time for coach Kwesi Appiah and his team. The venue remains the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. Egypt is expected to announce the location and date for the return leg soon. The winner of these two play-off matches will secure a spot in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
