Aurelien Tchouameni on Manchester United radar
Aurelien Tchouameni has reportedly emerged as one of Manchester United’s main options to eventually take over Casemiro’s role at the base of their midfield.
According to The Telegraph, Manchester United are closely tracking the France international’s situation at Real Madrid as they look for a long-term solution in the No.6 position.
Tchouameni is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2028, and Madrid are not expected to make him easily available. Any chance of a deal would likely hinge on how Real reshape their own midfield in upcoming transfer windows. The Spanish giants are considering fresh moves in that area, which could force them to raise funds through player sales.
Club president Florentino Perez is known to be a big admirer of Manchester City star Rodri, whose contract runs until the end of next season, with City already offering new terms. If Madrid were ever to formalise interest in the 29-year-old, it might indirectly open the door for the Red Devils to test their resolve over Tchouameni. This season, the 26-year-old has made 44 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid, scoring twice and providing two assists, underlining his importance to Alvaro Arbeloa’s side.
