In a bid to motivate the Stallions for their qualification in the Brazil 2014 World Cup, the Burkinabe government has promised a special bonus for the players and technical staff participating in the two play-off matches against Algeria.
Colonel Yacouba Ouédraogo, the Minister of Sports, expressed confidence in the team’s ability and emphasized the government’s commitment to providing the necessary resources and support for a historic qualification. The government aims to ensure that the Stallions have all the means required to achieve success in both the home and away matches.
The first leg of the play-offs is scheduled to take place in Ouagadougou between October 11 and 15, while the return match will be held at the Mustapha Tchaker stadium in Blida between November 15 and 19, according to the draw conducted in Egypt.
