Hannover 96 push to retain Noel Aseko on another loan spell
Hannover 96 are making strong efforts to secure another loan deal for Germany-born midfielder of Equatorial Guinea descent, Noel Aseko, following his standout campaign in the 2. Bundesliga.
The 20-year-old midfielder has emerged as one of the most sought-after young talents on the market after playing a key role in Hannover’s season. His performances have not gone unnoticed, attracting attention from several top European clubs.
Parent club Bayern Munich have now reportedly set a valuation between €10 million and €12 million for the highly rated prospect. The German champions, who recently activated a buy-back clause to bring Aseko back into their ranks, are said to be weighing up their options regarding his future.
Interest is already building across Europe. Eintracht Frankfurt are understood to be in active discussions with the player’s representatives, viewing him as a strong addition to their midfield setup.
Meanwhile, AS Roma have made an official enquiry, while Premier League sides Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion are closely monitoring developments.
Despite the growing competition, Hannover remain determined to keep Aseko for another season. The club is pushing for a renewed loan agreement, hoping to retain one of their most influential players as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
