Tragedy in Mohammedia as young footballer drowns

A wave of grief swept through the city of Mohammedia on Sunday following the tragic death of a young player from Chabab Mohammedia’s youth ranks.

The 16-year-old lost his life after drowning at the popular March 3 Beach, bringing heartbreak to teammates, family, and the wider football community.

A Life Cut Short by Tragedy

According to reports, the teenager had been playing football on the sand before entering the sea for a swim. In a cruel turn of events, he was caught by the waves and could not be rescued in time.

What began as a routine moment of leisure quickly turned into a devastating tragedy that has left the local community in shock.
