Michael Olise wins Bayern Munich Player of the Month for March

Michael Olise’s electric form on the right wing has earned him Bayern Munich’s Player of the Month award for March, capping a run in which he drove the team’s attack at home and in Europe.

The French winger topped the fan poll with 44.5% of the vote, comfortably finishing ahead of Harry Kane and Serge Gnabry after a series of decisive displays.

In the Champions League round of 16 first leg away to Atalanta, Olise delivered one of his standout performances of the season, scoring twice and adding an assist in a 4-1 win in Bergamo. He continued to influence Bayern’s domestic campaign, setting up a goal in the 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen and getting on the scoresheet in a 4-0 victory over Union Berlin.

Now 24, Olise has grown into a central creative force for Bayern, often drifting inside from the right to dictate play while still providing goals and assists from wide areas.

This latest prize is his third Bayern Player of the Month award of the season after wins in August 2025 and January 2026, bringing him level with Harry Kane in monthly honours. Across all competitions, he has produced 17 goals and 29 assists in 42 appearances, placing him among Europe’s most productive attacking players.
