Al Ittihad Alexandria have reached an agreement with experienced coach Miloud Hamdi to take charge of the club for the remainder of the Egyptian Premier League season, with an option for a further year.

Hamdi is expected to arrive in Alexandria today to complete the formalities of his appointment and begin work with the squad.

As part of the agreement, he will be accompanied by one assistant coach, forming a streamlined technical setup as the club looks to stabilize its campaign.

The contract structure runs until the end of the current season, with an additional year included as an option, reflecting the club’s intent to assess short-term impact before committing to a longer-term project.

Hamdi brings a wide range of experience across African football, having previously managed several prominent clubs, including USM Alger, RS Berkane, JS Kabylie, Singida Black Stars, Young Africans SC, and Ismaily SC.

His appointment is seen as a move to inject experience and tactical stability into the Alexandria-based side as they navigate a demanding phase of the season.
