Anticipated repercussions include an expected drop of 11 positions in the upcoming FIFA rankings next month, placing the national team at 39th position globally.
This setback also results in Tunisia slipping to the fifth position in the African rankings, trailing behind Morocco, Senegal, Nigeria, and Egypt, and occupying the third position in the Arab rankings.
