Aston Villa is reportedly interested in acquiring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the star striker of Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1, France. The Gabonese international has been in impressive form, scoring seven goals this season, including two against PSG. If the transfer goes through, Aubameyang could replace Darren Bent at Aston Villa. Tottenham had attempted to sign him last year without success. Aubameyang, 23 years old, is currently under contract with Saint-Etienne until 2015.
