Guillaume Hoarau hails confident Ousmane Dembele
Former PSG forward Guillaume Hoarau believes Ousmane Dembele is playing like a man transformed after watching him inspire Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-1 win over Toulouse in Ligue 1.
The forward produced a brilliant brace and a stunning solo strike that lit up Matchday 28 at the Parc des Princes.
In an interview with Ligue1+ reported by Planete PSG, Hoarau could not hide his admiration. “What a goal! In this match, he was free in his runs and his intentions,” he said, noting how Dembele constantly looked to take responsibility.
“He took the game into his own hands. For the goal, he was in a world of his own, as if he were the only one on the pitch. He is brimming with confidence, like a potential Ballon d’Or winner.”
Dembele’s double against Toulouse took him to 14 goals and 8 assists in 30 matches across all competitions this season, underlining his status as PSG’s main attacking reference point.
With end product now matching his talent, the winger’s form is becoming one of the defining stories of PSG’s campaign.
