Moroccan midfielder Neil El Aynaoui is poised to make his return for AS Roma this weekend as they prepare for a high-stakes showdown against Inter Milan in Serie A.

Roma will travel to the iconic San Siro for Sunday evening’s encounter, a fixture that carries major implications for both the Scudetto race and qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

According to Angelo Mangiante of Sky Sport, El Aynaoui is expected to step into the starting lineup, replacing the unavailable Manu Koné in midfield.

Roma will be without several key players heading into the clash, including Paulo Dybala, Artem Dovbyk, Evan Ferguson, Koné, and Wesley França, the latter having picked up an injury during international duty with Brazil.

In defence, Wesley is set to be replaced by Kostas Tsimikas, as Roma look to navigate a challenging selection situation ahead of one of their most important matches of the season.

With both teams chasing key objectives at the top end of the table, El Aynaoui’s return could provide a timely boost for Roma as they aim to secure a positive result in Milan.
