Arbeloa hails Brahim Diaz for resilience and top form

Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa has offered strong backing to Brahim Diaz, praising both his performances and mentality in recent weeks.

Despite not always starting, the Moroccan forward has made a noticeable impact whenever called upon, and his coach wants that level to continue.

“I hope he continues to perform at the level he’s been showing, demonstrating the talent he has,” said Arbeloa, underlining how highly the club rates the 26-year-old. The coach highlighted that Brahim has been effective whether starting matches or coming off the bench, stressing that he remains an important and happy member of the squad.

“He’s been playing at a very high level. I’m sure he’ll continue to get plenty of minutes. He’s been important, both from the start and off the bench, and he’s happy. He’s coming off a difficult situation, and that’s what we need from all our players,” Arbeloa added, alluding to Brahim’s missed penalty heartbreak in the AFCON final and his ability to respond positively.

For Arbeloa, Brahim’s response to adversity perfectly embodies the mentality Real Madrid expect from their players.
