Egypt has reportedly submitted a complaint to FIFA, requesting to be placed in the top seeds for the World Cup play-offs. The complaint is based on matches played two years ago that were not counted for FIFA rankings. Egypt is currently in 8th place in the latest African ranking, and the complaint challenges Tunisia’s position in the top seeds. FIFA is expected to respond to the request.
