Senegal secured the Bronze medal at the Francophonie Games after winning a penalty shootout against Ivory Coast. The Lion Cubs emerged victorious with 11 shots against 10 for Ivory Coast. Despite acknowledging that it wasn’t their most successful match, Senegal’s coach, Aliou Cissé, expressed his satisfaction with the deserved medal for Senegal based on their overall performance. Congo and Morocco are set to compete in the final of this edition.
