The fourth day of the Algerian Ligue 1 championship over the weekend failed to determine the competition’s leader. The victories of MC Alger at home (2-1) against CR Belouizdad and JS Kabylie over MC Oran (2-0) resulted in both clubs being tied on points with CS Constantine, all with 4 points.
Meanwhile, USM El Harrach, currently at the bottom of the table, suffered another defeat against US Algiers (1-2). The match between ES Sétif and JSM Béjaïa was postponed to September 24 due to the former’s participation in the Confederation Cup, where they were defeated by TP Mazembé (4-1) on Saturday.
