Tout Puissant Mazembe of DR Congo secured its place in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup with a convincing 4-1 victory over Algerian team Entente Sétif. The win gives Mazembe a total of 10 points in Group B, ensuring that they cannot be overtaken by other teams in the group. Tanzanian player Ulimwengu was instrumental in the victory, scoring two goals in the first half, while Mputu and Samatta added to the tally. Sétif managed to score one goal through Gourmi but could not mount a comeback. Mazembe’s strong performance in the group stage has positioned them well for the knockout rounds of the competition.
