Juventus line up Serhou Guirassy as possible Dusan Vlahovic successor
Juventus are reportedly considering Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy as a backup plan if they cannot agree a new contract with Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbian forward is in talks over an extension, but his future in Turin is not fully settled yet. That uncertainty has led the club to quietly explore alternatives in the market.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio believes Guirassy is firmly on the radar of top Serie A sides. “I believe Milan could be monitoring him, as they will almost certainly sign another forward after the Mateta deal collapsed in January. Guirassy could be a viable option; they were heavily linked with him before his move to Dortmund and the club really likes him.”
Di Marzio also highlighted how Juve’s interest hinges on Vlahovic’s situation. “Even Juventus’ strategy depends on Vlahovic and whether he signs a new deal. When discussing players with expiring contracts, we must include Vlahović. His representatives are currently in talks over a renewal. If they don’t extend, Guirassy could become a serious option for Juve.”
Guirassy is having a strong season in Germany, scoring 12 goals and adding 1 assist in 24 Bundesliga games, underlining why he is attracting attention from Italy.
