Barcelona hail Egyptian forward Hamza Abdel Karim after making debut

Barcelona has warmly welcomed Egyptian forward Hamza Abdel Karim following his impressive debut in the club’s colors.

The Catalan side secured Abdel Karim on a six-month loan from Al Ahly during the winter transfer window, with an option to make the move permanent.

He made his first appearance for Barcelona’s under-19 team on Sunday against Huesca, marking the occasion with a goal.

Barcelona’s official Arabic account on X shared a clip of the strike, captioning it: “A good omen, and the future is more beautiful and better, Hamza.” Another post added: “A promising start, Hamza. Keep going, fight, persevere and enjoy. You are up to the task.”

Earlier reports indicated that Abdel Karim would begin with the youth setup before gradually joining the reserve team, allowing him time to adapt to Spanish football.
