PSV Eindhoven secured a 3-1 victory at Heracles Almelo on Saturday, boosted by a goal from Moroccan international Ismaïl Saibari, in a match from the 25th round of the Eredivisie.

PSV took the lead early through Ivan Perisic, who converted a penalty in the 9th minute. Just four minutes later, Saibari doubled the advantage with a precise strike from the edge of the box, sending the ball into the top right corner of the net.

The visitors extended their lead before halftime when Dennis Man headed home in the 41st minute, with the goal confirmed following a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review.

Heracles attempted a late comeback in the second half, with Lequincio Zeefuik reducing the deficit in the 80th minute through a long-range effort that found the top corner. Despite the goal, PSV held on to secure all three points.

This win marks PSV’s 21st victory of the Eredivisie season, allowing them to consolidate their position at the top of the table with 65 points.

Their lead over second-placed Feyenoord Rotterdam now stands at 17 points. Feyenoord will face FC Twente on Sunday, with the sixth-placed team currently on 38 points.

PSV’s performance showcased the attacking depth of Peter Bosz’s squad, with early goals setting the tone and Saibari’s contribution highlighting his growing importance to the team.

The victory also underscores PSV’s dominance in the Eredivisie this season, keeping them firmly on course for the title.
