Raja Casablanca without three key players ahead of RS Berkane clash
Raja Club Athletic will head into their postponed seventh round fixture of the Botola Pro 1 with notable absences as they prepare to face RS Berkane away from home.
The Green Eagles are expected to be without Adam Nafati and Ayman Barqouq, both sidelined due to injuries sustained earlier. Their absence represents a setback for Raja as they look to maintain momentum in the domestic championship.
Right back Ayoub El Amloud has also been ruled out after picking up an injury during training. The defender had already missed Raja’s previous outing against Ittihad Tanger, a match the Casablanca side won convincingly, with teammates of Badr Benoun securing victory through a brace.
Meanwhile, head coach Fadlu Davids is still awaiting a final medical assessment on Mohamed Boulksout, who sustained a knock in the encounter against Ittihad Tanger. The technical staff will make a late decision regarding his availability for the Berkane trip once the medical report is reviewed.
The highly anticipated meeting between Raja and RS Berkane is scheduled for Wednesday night at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, with kickoff set for 9 pm, as both sides aim to strengthen their positions in the league standings.
