Cameroon forward Karl Toko Ekambi continues impressive form for Al-Arabi in Qatar
Cameroonian international Karl Toko Ekambi is enjoying a fine run of form in the Qatar Stars League, continuing his scoring streak for Al-Arabi SC.
The experienced forward once again found the back of the net on Saturday, 21 February, during Matchday 16 of the league campaign. Toko Ekambi opened the scoring against Al-Duhail SC, giving Al Arabi an early advantage in a tightly contested encounter. Although the match ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw, the Cameroonian’s goal ensured he maintained his impressive run in front of goal.
That strike marked his third consecutive league goal, underlining his growing influence in the Qatari top flight. Prior to the clash with Al-Duhail, Toko Ekambi had already made his mark against Al-Shamal SC on 5 February and Umm Salal SC on 29 January.
With his latest effort, the 31-year-old now boasts five goals in all competitions for Al Arabi this season. His recent form comes as a major boost for the club as they push for consistency in the closing stages of the campaign.
Having rediscovered his scoring touch, Toko Ekambi is proving to be a decisive figure for Al Arabi, delivering when it matters most and reinforcing his reputation as a reliable attacking threat.
