I want to win trophies with Chelsea, says Senegal centre-back Mamadou Sarr
Senegal defender Mamadou Sarr is determined to make his mark at Chelsea and compete for silverware.
The 20-year-old returned to Stamford Bridge after a loan spell with Strasbourg and featured in last week’s 3-0 FA Cup victory over Hull City, marking his full debut for the club.
Reflecting on his first appearance, Sarr said, “It was a tough game, but I was so happy to make my [full] debut for Chelsea. I hope I will play a lot of games here.
“I just try to play a good game and be good on the pitch, because it’s all about that and winning trophies.”
The promising centre-back also expressed his ambition to collect honours with the FIFA Club World Cup champions.
“My goal is to win trophies here, play a lot of games and learn from my team-mates and the Premier League as well,” he added.
