Juventus target German-Sierra Leonean defender Antonio Rüdiger in potential free transfer move
Juventus are reportedly preparing a move for seasoned defender Antonio Rüdiger as they explore the possibility of signing him on a free transfer next summer.
According to Calciomercato, the Italian giants are assessing both the financial implications and sporting prospects of bringing the German international with Sierra Leonean roots to Turin once his current deal runs its course.
Rüdiger’s contract with Real Madrid is set to expire at the end of June 2026, which would make him available without a transfer fee.
At 32, the commanding centre back boasts vast experience at the highest level of European football. Over the course of his career, he has represented Chelsea FC, AS Roma and VfB Stuttgart, collecting domestic and continental honours along the way.
For Juventus, securing a player of Rüdiger’s pedigree would represent a calculated effort to reinforce their defensive line with proven leadership.
The club believes his experience could provide added solidity at the back while also offering valuable composure in both Serie A and European competition.
