This afternoon in Marseille, Adrien Anigo, the son of José Anigo, OM’s sports director, was fatally shot. The information, initially reported by Le Parisien, has not been officially confirmed by OM’s official media.
Adrien Anigo was driving a rented black Twingo when he was targeted and shot dead. Two motorcyclists, who later fled the scene, carried out the attack. The assailants shot José Anigo’s son at close range through the vehicle’s window, hitting him in the head and carotid artery.
The victim, aboard a black Twingo, was specifically targeted by two individuals riding a powerful motorcycle, who fired upon him at point-blank range. The prosecutor, Brice Robin, provided this information to AFP and the Republic.
