Joseph Akpala, the Nigerian center forward from Werder Bremen, has completed a loan move to Kardemir Karabükspor in the Turkish Super Lig. The loan move comes after Akpala was previously announced to be joining Reading. With limited playing time in the Bundesliga, the move to the Turkish Super Lig provides Akpala with the opportunity for more playing minutes. He signed the contract with Kardemir Karabükspor after successfully completing a medical examination. Akpala, aged 27, is under contract with Werder Bremen until June 2016.
