Chelsea has made a loan move this evening, sending Sam Hutchinson, a 24-year-old English defender, to Vitesse Arnhem for the season. Hutchinson has been with Chelsea since 2007 but has only made six appearances in official competitions with the first team. The loan to Vitesse Arnhem provides him with an opportunity for more playing time. Hutchinson will join Ghanaian player Atsu at Vitesse Arnhem.
