Joel Obi, the 22-year-old midfielder, has joined Parma on loan until the end of the season. After a limited appearance in Serie A with Inter Milan last season (just two matches), the Nigerian international is set to embark on a new chapter with Parma.
This move marks the second club in Joel Obi’s professional career. Having joined Inter in 2005 from NEPA Lagos (Nigeria), Obi rose through the ranks with the Nerazzurri, securing the 2011 Italian Cup during his second professional season – considered his most successful period with Inter.
Remaining an Inter player until June 2017, Joel Obi aims to regain his form and fitness under the management of Roberto Donadoni at Parma.
