The latest setback has further complicated the club’s situation and reignited debate over the team’s technical direction.
Kenitra have now gone six consecutive matches without a victory, a disappointing run that contrasts sharply with the ambitions of supporters who had hoped for a strong, promotion-chasing campaign this season.
The team currently sits eighth in the standings with 19 points, having recorded four wins, seven draws and four defeats, a return widely viewed as below expectations.
According to sources, club president Hakim Doumou has decided to part ways with Tunisian head coach Tarek Hadhiri after a series of evaluation meetings.
The same sources indicated that an initial agreement has been reached with Moroccan coach Redouane Lahimer to take over the role, subject to the completion of official procedures.
However, the process could face delays, as Hadhiri is reportedly insisting on receiving all his financial dues as outlined in his contract before formally leaving his post. This dispute may postpone the official confirmation of the coaching change.
The source also attempted to reach President Hakim Doumou for comment regarding the decision to dismiss the Tunisian coach and appoint Lahimer as his successor, but repeated calls reportedly went unanswered, leaving uncertainty hanging over the club’s immediate future.
