Ivory Coast international Yan Diomande is staying focused at RB Leipzig despite being link with German giants Bayern Munich.
The 18-year-old, who plies his trade for German outfit, RB Leipzig has attracted significant interest following a standout performance in the current campaign.
Diomande is causing stir, with the Bayern Munich expressing huge interest in the talented winger. The enterprising winger joined Leipzig last summer from Leganes for around €20 million, and has swiftly established himself as a key member of the club, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.
With his current contract expiring in 2030, interested clubs are expected to pay huge to be able to secure the services of the talented attacker.
Bayern Munich are reportedly keen to capture the signature of the enterprising Ivory Coast forward in the summer.
But Diomande is not paying attention to speculation linking him with a move to Bayern, while saying it’s an honour to be mentioned in connection with the German giants.
“It’s always nice to hear that kind of thing. But I haven’t spoken to anyone about Bayern, it’s not the right time. I’m happy here in Leipzig and I want to stay focused,’ said the Ivory Coast international.
Bayern Munich will have to battle it out with Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, who are said to be eyeing a move for the Ivorian.
