Former Genoa coach Patrick Vieira believes Ousmane Dembele has become one of the world’s standout attackers thanks to the collective strength of Paris Saint-Germain.
He highlighted how the winger has finally been able to show his full potential in a balanced, well-drilled side.
“Since joining Paris Saint-Germain, he has been able to express his full talent. When you have a strong team, individual talent shines through,” said the former Arsenal icon, underlining how structure and support have unlocked Dembele’s creativity and end product.
Although fitness problems have disrupted Dembele’s season and stopped him from matching last year’s remarkable numbers that helped him lift the Ballon d’Or, he remains central to PSG’s attack. The 28-year-old continues to drive the team in the final third, contributing 11 goals and seven assists in all competitions so far.
Even when he is not at peak physical condition, Dembele’s influence shapes how PSG play, from stretching defences to creating chances for teammates.
