Senegal international, Mory Diaw suffered an injury setback while in action for Le Havre in their French Ligue 1 clash against Toulouse.
The 32-year-old experienced shot stopper was forced off at half-time, as his outfit cruised to a 2-1 victory over Toulouse on Sunday in the 22nd round of the French top flight.
Meanwhile, Le Havre has disclosed the goalkeeper was withdrawn as a precaution, with medical assessments set to determine the seriousness of the problem and the length of his potential absence.
The injury comes as another frustration for the Senegal international, who has already battled several fitness issues in recent years. Since 2020, Diaw has suffered five separate injuries, limiting his continuity at club level.
Despite the setback, the 31-year-old has been a key figure for Le Havre this season, making 18 league appearances, keeping five clean sheets, and conceding 23 goals in Ligue 1.
Le Havre will now be hoping their first-choice goalkeeper can return quickly as they continue their push in the league.
Diaw was a member of the Senegal squad that secured the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco, where the Taranga Lions narrowly triumphed over the Atlas Lions to win the trophy.
At the international level, Diaw has made on three appearances for the Senegal national team since his debut in 2023. He has struggled to command a regular spot in the team due to the presence of Eduard Mendy.
