Camel Meriem, who has been without a contract since leaving OGC Nice, is set to join Apollon Limassol in Cyprus. The midfielder is expected to sign a 2-year contract with the Cypriot club. Despite interest from two Ligue 1 clubs, Meriem has opted for a move to Cyprus. The 33-year-old, who previously played for clubs like Bordeaux and Marseille, had been training with the reserve team of his former club Sochaux during the summer. Apollon Limassol is part of Group J in the Europa League, alongside Lazio Rome, Legia Warsaw, and Trabzonspor.
