The Cameroonian duo, Vincent Abu Bakr and Clinton Ngaji, have declared their readiness to take on Nigeria in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Both players have been sidelined due to injuries, missing out on Cameroon’s earlier matches in the tournament.
According to the Cameroonian newspaper “Le Blaid Parley,” Vincent Abu Bakr and Clinton Ngaji are fit and prepared to play against Nigeria.
The duo trained with the Cameroonian national team for the first time, marking their return to the squad and becoming viable options for Coach Roger Milla.
Both Abu Bakr and Ngaji were integral members of the Cameroonian squad that clinched the Africa Cup of Nations title in 2017, defeating Egypt.
Cameroon has netted five goals during the group stage of the tournament, showcasing their offensive prowess.
The much-anticipated clash between Nigeria and Cameroon is set for January 27, with the winner advancing to face the victor of the Angola versus Namibia encounter in the quarter-finals.
