Abdul Ajagun, the captain of the Nigerian U-20 team, has left the Nigerian championship to join the Greek first division. He signed a four-year contract with Panathinaikos Athens. Ajagun gained recognition during the last Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, where he scored three goals and provided an assist. Before joining Panathinaikos, he played for Dolphins FC in Nigeria, scoring 39 goals in 92 appearances from 2008 to 2013.
