Or Dasa has completed a permanent move from FC Ashdod to Hapoel Nof HaGalil, joining the Liga Leumit side on a contract running from 2026-02-11 to 2027-06-30. The attacking midfielder switches divisions within Israel after Ashdod’s top-flight campaign, with the transfer registered as a standard deal and the fee undisclosed.
The 27-year-old arrives in Nof HaGalil with a current market value listed at €150k, maintaining the valuation he carried during his recent spell at Ashdod. The move also represents a step down from Ligat ha’Al to Liga Leumit, positioning Dasa as an experienced, creative option for a club operating outside the Israeli top tier but still competing in a fully professional national league.
Born in Ness Ziona and standing 1.71 m tall, Dasa brings a wealth of domestic and international club experience despite his relatively modest fee profile. A right-footed specialist in the attacking midfield role, he has spent almost his entire senior career in Israel, punctuated by a stint in Portugal’s Primeira Liga system with FC Arouca. That time abroad gives Hapoel Nof HaGalil a player who has been exposed to a higher-tempo European environment as well as multiple tactical systems at home.
Dasa’s journey to his new club has been notably itinerant in recent seasons. After leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv’s youth setup for the senior side, he moved through Hapoel Raanana, then enjoyed a loan and return path via Hapoel Kfar Saba, before earning his switch to Arouca. Subsequent years saw him re-establish himself in Israel with Hapoel Ramat Gan, a short period as a free agent, and then contracts at Hapoel Acre and Hapoel Umm al-Fahm. From there he joined FC Ashdod ahead of the 2025–26 campaign, before now making the step to Hapoel Nof HaGalil.
His market value peaked at around €550k during his early-20s spell at Hapoel Raanana, gradually declining to its current €150k level after moves to Kfar Saba, Arouca, Ramat Gan and later second-tier sides. Even so, the steady floor to his valuation underlines that clubs continue to see him as a reliable squad asset, particularly in the attacking third.
For Hapoel Nof HaGalil, the signing adds a technically capable, Liga Leumit-proven midfielder who has already navigated the physical and tactical demands of both Israel’s top flight and second division. For Dasa, the move offers regular minutes and a stable platform at a stage of his career where his next contracts will be decisive. With his deal at Nof HaGalil now in place until 2027-06-30, the coming seasons will determine whether he can re-ignite the form that once made him one of the more highly valued young midfielders in Israeli football or edge towards another free-agent crossroads as his new agreement enters its final year.
