Manchester United have added their name to FC Nordjaelland’s versatile player Caleb Yirenkyi’s lists of suitors with a view of future approach.
The Premier League giants, who are keen to add the talented Ghana international to their ranks has already reach out to the Danish outfit to inquire about his availability.
Manchester United consider Yirenkyi an ideal alternative to Brighton and Hove Albion and Cameroon midfielder Carlos Baleba, who appears to be more expensive.
However, the Red Devils could turn attention to the Black Stars midfielder should they face any stumbling block in landing Baleba.
Manchester United scouts were in Denmark last week to monitor Yirenkyi, where the talented Ghana international delivered a man-of-the-match performance against SønderjyskE with a goal and an assist.
Nordsjælland are open to considering Yirenkyi’s departure, but will demand a substantial fee for the talented midfielder.
This season, Caleb Yirenkyi has played 22 matches for Nordsjælland, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists. His current contract with the Danish club runs until 2030.
