Al Ahly will return to training this evening as they prepare for their postponed Premier League clash with Ismaily.
The squad is set to train at 5 p.m. at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in Gezira, following a day off granted after their return from Algeria yesterday morning, concluding a journey of approximately five hours.
The team had already sealed their spot in the African Champions League quarter-finals with a goalless draw against JS Kabylie in the fifth round.
They will face Morocco’s FAR Rabat next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium in the final group-stage match.
Al Ahly’s focus now shifts to the Premier League, with the rescheduled fixture against Ismaily set for next Wednesday at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, kicking off at 5 p.m. Cairo time.
